Medusa wasn't just a monster. In one of the darker versions of the myth, she was a beautiful priestess of Athena raped by Poseidon. Instead of punishing the culprit, the goddess turned her into a monstrous creature, condemning her to be seen forever as a threat, and never as a victim.

As part of the Fiera project, the poster “What You Looking At?!” aims to overturn this narrative. Like in modern society where victims of violence are often blamed, Medusa was punished for something she did not choose. The message is an invitation to not look away from the truth and not allow the victim to be turned into a perpetrator.
