Diptych created for the Aldo Mieli Documentation Center<\/strong>

Ecate<\/strong> is the complementary painting of the diptych created for the Aldo Mieli Documentation Center<\/strong> in Carrara. The work develops the theme of the moon as a symbol of transformation, cyclicality, and inner dimension, entering into direct dialogue with the work dedicated to Arachne.

A liminal figure in ancient mythology, Hecate is traditionally associated with passages<\/strong>, thresholds, and border territories. In this context, she becomes a symbolic presence that recalls the link between time, change, and emotional awareness<\/strong>. The moon is understood here as an archetype linked to intuition and the acceptance of the multiple dimensions of human experience.

The work also stems from dialogue with the client, who contributed to the visual identity of the work through the choice of frame<\/strong>, an element with which the pictorial composition deliberately interacts. This aspect reinforces the collaborative dimension<\/strong> of the project and its roots in a specific cultural context.

In the diptych, Hecate and Arachne construct a shared symbolic narrative<\/strong>, in which weaving, time, and transformation intertwine, opening up a space for reflection between myth, contemporary identity<\/strong>, and cultural memory.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>
