Cos t\u2019ha da mirar?!<\/strong> is a series of ceramics created in collaboration with Studio Nautilus<\/strong>. The project draws inspiration from apotropaic depictions of the Gorgon Medusa<\/strong>, widespread in the ancient Mediterranean as symbols of protection: images placed on shields or domestic entrances with the function of warding off evil<\/strong> through the power of the gaze.

The title is taken from an expression in the Carrara dialect<\/strong> that can be translated as \u201cWhat are you looking at?\u201d, a direct and ironic phrase that reinforces the defensive and symbolic character<\/strong> of the object, linking mythological imagery and local identity.

The bowls were designed on private commission and develop an essential and contemporary aesthetic<\/strong>, in dialogue with the symbolic tradition from which they originate. The project thus explores the relationship between function, decoration, and archetypal meaning<\/strong>, maintaining a balance between artistic research and the everyday dimension of the object.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>
