The subject explores entities from folklore<\/strong> that portray sirens as monstrous creatures \u2014 half women, half fish \u2014 who lure sailors with their voices and lead them astray.

The word siren<\/strong> is often used to describe a woman who manipulates others for her own ends. What modern society tends to overlook, however, is that in traditional mythology<\/strong> these creatures are better understood as Nereids<\/strong>: sea nymphs who watch over the ocean floor and guard the secrets buried in the abyss<\/strong> \u2014 secrets no human could ever hope to fathom.

Within them dwell all the mysteries of the deep<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>
